Hi
My host is Dualcore, 4GB, win-xp machine.
I am running opensolaris on top of it.
Is it possible to allocate both the core of my host to the guest? (of course i am not going to run any other cpu intensive application on the windows host by that time).
Thanks in advance,

Starting with VirtualBox 3.0 there is support for Guest SMP. You can activate it from the GUI "System->Processor" tab or via the command line using VBoxManage modifyvm <vmname> --hwvirtex on --cpus <number>.
I'd suggest trying VirtualBox 3.1.x.
