Problem with Solaris 10 guest

Dear all,

I just try VB 3.0.8 with Solaris 10 (Not OpenSolaris) guest and Xp professional host, as my friend told me that VB is good in actualization than others.

Now I got problem with below screens.

Whatever I enter in the 3rd screen it will render to human unreadable text and stay in this loop.

I never install VB before. Note that right now I have installed VMWare server as well on my pc with Ubuntu host. I don't know that whether it would interfere with VB?

This is the same problem that I posted as Sun won't install on Sun VirtualBox. Nice to know that it isn't just me. I haven't gotten any replies yet though.

I haven;t had any problems installing Solaris 10 as a guest. Though, I am using Linux as the host. I've installed and run Solaris 10 in VBox 1.5, 2.x and 3.x without issue. Though, I haven;t used them heavily. They've quietly run SunWS and/or Apache and PHP. Host OS has been Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10. I've never run VBox with XP as the host.

I haven't been able to duplicate the issue. I've installed various versions of Solaris on several machines under a lot of versions of VirtualBox over time and can't recall ever seeing this particular issue.

I am trying to run installer of Solaris 10 >> June 2009 release.
Earlier version got installed with no problem.
Seems like need that VB thing installed.
