Hi Everyone,
May primary interface is working fine. I wanted to added an new interface but I'm not sure how to do it. I've checked the box on the virtual machine for a new interface but when I boot the guest and do an ifconfig -a, I only see one interface.
Is there a command on the guest OS i need to run to make the new interface show up?
Many thanks
MickeyG

When you enable the second NIC, it should be visible in the Guest without doing anything else. Are you sure you don't see an additional NIC? Check /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules (if that exists on Solaris, I have no idea how that system works) for a list of found hardware. Else the command lshw -C network can help.

Thanks Sasquatch,
I can now see the nic now. I had to plumb it in.
#ifconfig e1000g1 plumb
Hopefully it was stay there after a reboot.
