Hello all
I am just starting using virtual box and it is quite exciting.
I have an issue though: Using XP on a dell M4300 laptop and Solaris 10 5/09 as a guest OS, i am trying to use a CAD system from that point.
If I do not install the guest addition, it works, but no graphic acceleration so the performances are horrible, plus I miss the ability to resize my solaris desktop the right way
If I install the guest addition for solaris, sizing is ok, but now my app complains about the libXcomposite.so.1 is missing (also verified by using ldd).
I would like to know where I can get this lib rerady to use for X86, but also if there is plan to have that fixed in a future version of the Guest addition package
Thanks
Phil

Re: Solaris Guest Addition missing library
if no graphic acceleration, it will be very slow, I think you can try to extract libXcomposite.so.1, then retry.

Re: Solaris Guest Addition missing library
done, but it is not enough
there are couple of other libraries missing and the systems complains about the wrong old version of libXcomposite
