Can't change resolution to 1920x1080 it always stays 1920x975

Hi,

I'm trying to get 1920x1080 resolution on my windows guest machine. It only shows me 1920x975 no matter what.
I tried setting the file->preferences->display->hint to 1920x1080
I tried change the view -> auto resize then view -> resize virtual window -> 1920x1080
I tried all bunch of stuff but it seems like the highest resolution is stuck at 1920x975! (When I go in side display settings -> advance -> resolution)
It's like it takes the panels into account and deduct their height from the final resolution. (on all modes full screen / scale ..)

Can anyone help me solve this?

Fullscreen requires Guest Additions to be installed in the guest. Do you have GAs installed?

I have, I was able to solve it by actually change it via the Registry.
