Hi!
I'm running a windows 10 64 bit on a linux-host (debian-bullseye). I've got Adobe Indesign 2020 installed on the Windows. But when I save my data on a Host-Folder (somwehere at (\\VBoxSvr) Indesign shows:
Error
"Die Netzwerkverbindung für die Datei "XXX" ist unterbrochen, oder die Datei wurde von einem anderen Prozess geändert."
and crashes. When i save it in a guest-Folder (e.G. the Desktop) everything saves fine.
Maybe somebody got an idea?
Thanks!

Re: Adobe Indesign Crashes when saving
This is a Guest Additions Shared Folder, and GASF's are strictly for drag-n-drop file & folder copying from host to guest & back. Saving, running, databasing, etc are not supoorted and may not work.TimBim wrote:save my data on a Host-Folder (somwehere at (\\VBoxSvr)
Either save in the guest OS then manually drag the file to the GASF, or set up a real Samba shared folder and a Host-Only network (if you don't have network access between host and guest already).
