Problem with Shaders (XP, Vista, 7)

Post by Dabber »

Host: Mac OS 10.15
Guest: WIndows XP/Vista/7 (tried on all 3)
When I'm trying to run a program on all 3 systems I get a message of "This system doesn't support shaders. Please update your graphics drivers and try again."
I installed the experimental graphics drivers from safe mode on all 3. I have successfully ran games on all 3 systems. I have 256 MB of V-Ram which should be more than enough.

Plz help

Please resize your 4K Retina screenshots to something that fits nicely on the forum, so we can see them without having to scroll excessively.

What version of Virtualbox are you running?

I deleted the ridiculously oversized yet low quality image. Please crop and scale images before attaching them.

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

I added the log file and changed the attached image.
Virtualbox version is 6.0.10

Thanks for the XP log. Unfortunately there is no 3D acceleration for XP guests in VirtualBox 6.x. Ditto Vista. By which I mean, no way for XP/Vista to talk to the OpenGL interface.

So only a Win7 log will be useful, after you have verified that you still have the problem there.
