So, I did everything according to manual.

1. Installed SATA AHCI driver in native Windows XP
2. Created second hardware profile in native Windows
3. Ran mergeide in native Windows XP
4. Created a fake mbr file

Code: Select all

install-mbr rawxp.mbr -f
5. Created an image

Code: Select all

VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename rawXP.vmdk -rawdisk /dev/sda -partitions 2 -mbr rawxp.mbr -relative
6. Ran virtualbox
7. Created a machine
8. Added an Image to sata controller
9. Enabled IO APIC

What i get is a blue screen

Is there an update for Windows 7 ?

So is it possible to have a Windows 7 installation,
and choose each time

to either dual boot it natively, or
to boot it inside a virtualbox.

Thanks a million!
