Maybe try after rebooting your host?

I've been having a similar issue. I have a MBP 2018 with Catalina 10.15.3 as the host and Windows 10 as the guest. When I first bring up the VM, everything seems fine, but after a while, my mouse slows way down to the point it appears to freeze. It appears the the apps within the VM are running fine; e.g. I can see outlook's inbox get updated and I can see email notifications moving fine. Any updates to this problem?

Thank you!

Just another idea that may appear far-fetched at first (and maybe it is ;)):

On your host, go to "System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Accessibility" and disable VirtualBox. Reboot your host. Does the problem persist?
This work for me thanks for your help
