I apologize for the very basic question.
I created two Windows guest VMs and connected both to the same "internal" network.
I configured one of the guest VM as a DHCP server and the other one as a DHCP guest.
The DHCP guest can't get an IP address from the DHCP host.
How should I confngure the network and/or network interfacers to let the DHCP client get an IP address from the DHCP server?
Regards
marius

Re: DHCP server and client
Post the output of the following command from both VMs:
ipconfing /a

Re: DHCP server and client
I'm afraid, in the meantime I changed the adapter and assigned static IP addresses to both VM so I don't think that the output of the command is meaningful.
by the way, VMs communicate now without any problem.
However, let me ask a different question: imagine that the configuration is ok for both VMs, how should the network be confngured?
Is it correct to confngure an Internal network with promiscuous mode disabled?
