Virtual box 100% Cpu Usage(Idle)

Post by CpuUsage »

Version: VirtualBox-6.0.6-130049
Installed Windows: Win 10 pro (64bit)
Installed Windows(Host): Win 10 home (64bit)

As soon as i start the Virtual box the Cpu usage is on 100%(even when idling) while the Host is on barely 20%.
I couldnt figure out the problem alone. I already tried to add more cores but didnt make any difference still was at 100

A google search on "windows 10 wsappx high cpu" reveals this to be a problem that shows up on Windows 8, 10 on real computers, not just in Virtualbox guests. Solve by googling, and implement the solutions presented. This one is not caused by Virtualbox.

I dont rly understand your post. So i dont have this problem on my real computer.
So a solution would be to use Win7 instead of Win 10 ?

Ah now i understand your post. Its not the wsappx thats causing high usage of cpu. Every program is causing it. Its completly random and vary every few seconds. So the general CPU usage is at 100% all the time doesnt matter whats opened. See below
