Can't start Windows XP 64-bit VM

When I try to start a VM, it gives me this error:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows XP (64-bit)

(VERR_NEM_MISSING_KERNEL_API).
VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Please ZIP and attach the full log. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

But I can tell you already what the problem is: you have Hyper-V enabled. Go to the "Control Panel" » "Programs and Features" » "Turn Windows features on or off", and make sure that the none of the following are active:
  • Application Guard
  • Credential Guard
  • Device Guard
  • <any> * Guard
  • Containers
  • Hyper-V
  • Virtual Machine Platform
  • Windows Hypervisor Platform
  • Windows Sandbox
What's interesting though is the following tidbit:
