I'm running a Linux Mint 19 host system, with a Win7 guest. The Win7 guest is configured to only use one monitor.
Hardware includes a nVidia GT520 add-on video card and a dual monitor system (each are capable of 1920x1080).
The host OS recognizes all possible resolutions, but the Win7 guest does not appear to recognize any resolution > 1600x1200.
I tried to install nvidia drivers in the guest, but that doesn't work/isn't supported.
I also have a Lubuntu guest, which properly detects the max screen resolution.
How do I get the Win7 guest to allow the max resolution?

Re: Win7 Guest/LinuxMint Host - Screen Resolution Problem
VirtualBox provides a simulated video adapter. It doesn't pass the hosts video card to the guest. The correct video drivers are part of the Guest Additions. Have you installed those into your Windows guest?jsimmonstx wrote:I tried to install nvidia drivers in the guest, but that doesn't work/isn't supported.
