I am using a WIN XP VM and everything works perfectly until I put my Video Memory past 64MB. The resolution drops to the lowest and all the colors are wrong. Below is a screenshot of how it looks.
These are my Computers actual Specs

Re: Issue with video memory
Why do you think that XP could handle (or need) more video memory?
Re: Issue with video memory
Scarface has a min requirement of 128MB Video Mem

Re: Issue with video memory
Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Re: Issue with video memory
The picture seems to show a 16 color (4 bit) graphics mode. Did you install the Guest Additions in safe mode?
Re: Issue with video memory
Yep I did in fact install the guest in safe mode using the devices bar

Re: Issue with video memory
Well, something is wrong. But it doesn't seem to be in the configuration of your VM. Or any of the logs. And given from the number of all the people that are using XP, I'd say that something is funny in your guest setup. How easy would be for you to do a fresh install on a 2nd VM?
Oh, BTW, this was a fresh install of WinXP from the installation CD, right?

Re: Issue with video memory
Well, it was an iso but yeah it's a fresh install. I will create a new VM and try again. I ended up getting my game to work on a Vista VM and it runs decent enough only issues I can see is the audio likes to bug out ever 10 min or so then fixes itself and small movements of the mouse is not registered in-game and fast movements arent either oh and the frame drop but that might be due to a virtual GPU
