Hello all
A simple question - perhaps a simple answer... to install guest additions for a windows XP guest on a Mac host I know that this must be done in safe mode.
Is it necessary to reinstall (in safe mode) if machine settings are changed after this initial installation?

The safe mode is required only if you want to install the Direct3D graphics drivers. And yes, you have to do it for every installation of the Guest Additions.
