Looking again at the original log I see that the VM reaches the stage of having loaded the GAs only 21 seconds after boot. It looks like you started interacting after 36 seconds. Those seem like quite respectable times to me, especially for a single core VM whose VDI is located on a secondary drive. Why do you call it slow?

The latest log STILL shows the guest using Guest Additions from VirtualBox 4.1.8. Please attend to this. Back up your VM first if you like.

And it still shows the additions being loaded 17 seconds after the VM was started, so once again I see no evidence of slowness.

Because we've seen it many times. Antivirus become "smarter", which means they hog down your PC even more unnecessarily than it was possible.

The built-in one. All the rest IMHO are pests.
