I have an Access 97 database that is installed on a VirtualBox Windows XP system. I was able to install the full version of Access but cannot install the "Access Developer Toolkit", which is needed to install the runtime. Running the Access 97 Developer tools setup gives a "16 bit ms-dos subsystem" error when it tries to write to the user temp folder.
Anybody know a workaround?

Run it in Win98 compatibility mode in XP?
