windows key in a windows 10 vm
windows key in a windows 10 vm
I'm new to virtualbox and have installed a win10 vm running in win10. Plan is to use it for software evaluation. After a few wrong turns I finally got the vm up and running. However, I cannot use the windows key in the vm. Can't get much done that way. Suggestions?

That probably has nothing to do with VirtualBox. Windows activation is the same in a vm as it is in a physical machine. They are regarded as two separate machines.

Interesting... When I first read it, I understood it as "the" WinKey, the actual WinKey in the keyboard!

The Windows aka Start key on the keyboard is how I interpret it too, and it seems to work fine for me in a Win7 VM.
@hgdriver, please clarify whether you meant a product key or a keyboard key.
