I don't know how I managed to download the software initially, two years ago or so, but ever since I haven NEVER NEVER NEVER been able to find a download link it is click and save. Is it really that difficult?

The place to download VirtualBox is (as you guessed it) from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
But, there's a technical problem that prevented the release of 5.2.10. At the moment, if you want the Windows version, you can download version 5.2.8 from (again) the Downloads page » VirtualBox older builds » VirtualBox 5.2 » Windows hosts. Or else https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_5_2
