Guest: Windows 10 Pro x64 (Machine definition attached as XML file since vbox cannot be uploaded.) VB Guest Additions: 5.2.4r119785
Host: Windows 10 Pro x64 running on a Surface Pro 4 1TB. Only thing besides VB running on the host is PressReader (NY Times).
IE keeps reporting that web pages have stopped working and recovers them. This happens across multiple commercial sites.
CPU usage on guest below 30%. Very little network traffic.
Any idea what could be causing the problem?

Re: IE Problems
ZIP it first. Do the same for your logs, always. You should know the drill by now... Oh, and shut down the VM completely before posting a VBox.log.zip.saberman wrote:Machine definition attached as XML file since vbox cannot be uploaded.
Disable the Remote Display Protocol server in the Display settings.00:00:02.594156 VRDP: Failed to start VRDP-IN thread, rc = VERR_NET_ADDRESS_IN_USE
And so is the 3D acceleration. Shutdown the VM and enable them in the VM settings » Display. Then re-install the GAs in the guest.00:00:04.236730 GUI: 2D video acceleration is disabled
You have four NICs:
- NAT, with the default 10.0.2.0/24.
- Host-Only.
- Bridged to "Surface Ethernet Adapter"
- Bridged to "Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller"
Other than that, I see one potential message the it is something to look at, but it only appears once, about the NAT interface losing/regaining its IP:
Finally, just because a program that runs in the context of VirtualBox has a problem, it doesn't make it a VirtualBox problem. You're having an issue that has most probably nothing to do with VirtualBox, so my suggestion would be to treat it as such, as a native problem with the OS or the application of the guest.00:00:24.196118 NAT: DHCP offered IP address 10.0.2.15 00:00:24.889823 NAT: Guest address guess changed from 10.0.2.15 to 169.254.5.166 by gratuitous arp 00:00:25.453081 NAT: Guest address guess changed from 169.254.5.166 to 10.0.2.15 by arp request
