Quickbooks multi user requires a Quickbooks Database Server Manager to run on a server to manage the licenses, it wont run on a mac
Looking to run virtualbox loaded with windows to support this
Is it viable?

I don't see why not. A Virtual Machine (VM) can be set up to look like any other computer on your network. You've got to use the Bridged mode in the VM Settings » Network » Adapter 1. Be warned that Bridged mode may fail if you're using wireless, it depends on the hardware and the software of the router, the drivers, etc. It will definitely work with a wired connection.
