After running the Windows 10 1709 update can no longer see my shared folders (on Mac OSX host).
Have been toggling all the network preferences I can find in Windows 10 - and rebooting - but so far no luck.
Which network preferences, exactly, need to be set in Windows for shared folders to show up? Or is it the firewall?

Reinstall the Guest Additions?
Re: can't see shared folders after W10 1709 update
I did that two more times and quit and relaunched Virtualbox Manager and now it works!
Thanks.
btw. this windows update was a nightmare - it has taken the whole morning to install with 3 tech support interventions from India (due to corrupted update installer).

Yes, I can confirm after some more testing that it seems that changes relating to Shared Folders are not always taken into account when rebooting the Virtual Machine UNLESS the VirtualBox Manager (the Host application) is rebooted as well.
That might be a bug?

I had the same problem, and was about to report it when I noticed that the Shared Folder was visible to my Linux guest. Reinstalling GA fixed the problem.
