[Solved] Resize guest GUI

I've got two guests running under the latest version of Virtualbox, all functioning fine.
My problem is that the one's GUI is too small but I do not know how to enlarge it.
Dragging on a corner just freezes the guest completely.
Any suggestion most welcome.

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Thanks mpack for yr quick response, it seems to be a complicated issue. I imagined it would be within some setting option somewhere.
I resolved it somewhat by changing the resolution of the monitor within the specific OS from 1339 x 869 to 1400 x 1050.
It does give me a larger view although the other OS is set at 1618 x 1006 which is better.
I can live with it as it's now.
As it's not an issue with Virtualbox but rather my guest OS settings I'll mark this thread as closed.

Which means that the Guest Additions (GAs) might actually be "installed" (somewhat). Not sure if they're the latest and up to date, not sure if you've enabled any 2D/3D acceleration, not sure how much vRAM you've allocated to your guest. That's why mpack wanted to see the VBox.log, but if you're happy with it, one less log to review for us... ;)

You can set that resolution specifically if you want to. Take a look at Ch. 9.8.1 Custom VESA resolutions of the User Manual.

OK, marking as [Solved].
