Good. Now we know that the GAs are installed and your graphics RAM is adequate.

Now all we need is a precise error message.

Programs like these tend to push the physical hardware to their limit hence the strict requirements for the graphics card specifications. Virtual machines will never be as powerful as the host, especially on the video side. They use after all a virtual graphics card, not your host's real graphics card. Applications that have high requirements on the GPU (drawing, 3D, games, video) are expected to not work as good as on the real hardware, if they work at all.

You only option is to pretty much wait for improved graphics support. I have no clue when this will happen or if it will happen at all.

Wait a minute... I just checked the logs again (the last one) and you have NOT enabled 2D or 3D acceleration in your VM.
00:00:02.133067 GUI: 2D video acceleration is disabled
Shut down the VM, enable 2D and 3D acceleration (VM Settings » Display » Screen). Boot Windows XP in safe mode (press F8 during boot) and re-install the Guest Additions (GAs). Eject the GAs CD, reboot your VM, and try again.
VirtualBox VM 5.2.0_RC1 r118302 darwin.amd64 (Oct 10 2017 18:04:34) release log
00:00:07.182988 VMMDev: Guest Additions information report: Version 5.1.26 r117224 '5.1.26'
You have installed a different version of GAs compared to what your VirtualBox is. The proper way to install the GAs is to go to the menu: Devices » Insert Guest Additions CD Image... That will ensure that you have the same version as the main program.
00:00:01.496821 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000100000000 (4 294 967 296, 4 096 MB, 4 GB)
That's too much RAM for a 32-bit guest. At most they can see ~3.5 GB. Usually 2 GB is more than enough for WinXP, but no more than 3.5 GB.

00:00:01.415090 None installed!
You might want to install the Ext. Pack, from the Downloads section.
00:00:01.497005 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000004000000 (67 108 864, 64 MB)
You might want to increase that to 128 if you enable 2D and 3D acceleration.
