I've create a VM from scratch of Windows 98 SE (on Windows 10). All seem good except that I'm not able to change the VGA driver than Standard VGA, so I'm forced to use 800x600 screen size with 16 colors.
I've tried to load different drivers but Windows (i.e. XVGA, Advanced, ...), after searching on the original CD, tells me that the selected driver is not compatible.
I tried to set it by ignoring this message but after rebooting tells me it can not load it and I have to reset the standard VGA driver.
Is there a solution?
P.S. Also, the setup of the Guest Additions get me a error, but on the program files applet results installed, however the icon tray isn't visible.
