[Solved] Windows ME problem

Post by Sussurrando »

During the installation Windows Me in Virtualbox (after reaching 100% of the first "level" of the installation) the system suppose to restart the "computer" and the installation should after continue. am doing that with a help of Youtube (I can't post links - so if you want to see it write on Youtube - How to Install Windows ME in Virtualbox - it's a 9:15 video) but I cannot pass the 5:35. After my Virtualbox crashes, it says to raport it here. I tried some other ISO's with Windows ME and other passwords but always it is crashing in the same moment.

Some time ago I've installed without a problem Win10. Please help me :) THX !!!!!!

Please edit your messages, delete the partial .txt files and post the actual ZIPPED VBox.log.
Thank you.

Thank you for posting the ZIP file. We didn't notice that you did, that's why the delayed response. I should have told you to do that in a new message, not simply edit the old one...
00:00:03.261024 RamSize <integer> = 0x00000000b8000000 (3 087 007 744, 2 944 MB, 2 GB)
That's TOO much for WinME. The default is 128 MB. Don't go more than 512 MB. In fact you have it close to 3 GB and that might cause problems.
00:00:03.261316 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000008000000 (134 217 728, 128 MB)
Same deal. The default is 20 MB. Stick to the defaults, unless you know what you're doing.
00:13:28.709609 !! VCPU0: Guru Meditation 1155 (VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT)
Not good, not good at all. See if reducing the memory helps...
