I'm hosting from Ubuntu 16.04. My Dell 17r is configured to dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows 10 from two separate drives. If I don't need the graphics power, I'll simply boot the Windows drive as a VM in Ubuntu.
Since I've updated to the Creator's Update, it simply hangs on the Windows logo when booting. No spinning dots or anything. If I try to boot that drive as the host, I have to go through the startup repair process.
I'd give more information, but I'm not sure what you guys would need.
I'd appreciate any help.

Re: Can't boot guest after Windows 10 Creator's Update
Does it go right to the repair process when starting as a host or is it after you tried launching it through the VM first?
Does it go through the repair process when booting the VM i.e. fails at booting initially, reboot and goes to repair? Do you have a high DPI / 4k monitor? If so, try to boot in a scaled down window or lower resolution monitor.
