Does anyone know where I can find SCSI drivers for XP? I've been looking everywhere for them, but I haven't been able to find them. Here's my specs:
Host:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
6 GB RAM
450 GB HDD (single partition)
Intel Ivy Bridge CPU (2 cores totaling 4 threads)
Guest:
Windows XP SP3 32-bit
2 GB RAM
1 CPU core
Main VHD (32 GB, split into 8 GB "Windows (C:)" and 24 GB "Files (D:)" partitions) and 1 CD/DVD drive on IDE
7 more drives totaling 128 GB on SCSI
Where to find SCSI drivers for WinXP 32-bit?

Do you have the goats ready?

Because I have too many VHDs to fit in an IDE controller. Would SATA work better?

Yes. And the Intel SATA/AHCI driver for XP-32bit is readily available. ISTR the SATA limit is 30 devices on the bus.
Re: Where to find SCSI drivers for WinXP 32-bit?
No one ever mentioned WHERE these elusive drivers are to be found, only that they do exist.
I am looking for either Windows XP SCSI or SATA drivers.
IDE is too limited on the number of drives to attach.
I use Windows XP for older applications & a link for DOS to the rest of the world, ie. transferring stuff to & from DOS.

found this link
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downlo ... r-Windows-
it claims RAID which I assumed was SCSI but not
now my WinXP in VBox has SATA & 30 drive slots to fill up

Yeah, there is a FAQ: Board index » Howtos and Tutorials » Windows Guests » How To: Install XP with SATA support (Improved July 2011).caltrop wrote:No one ever mentioned WHERE these elusive drivers are to be found, only that they do exist.
Apparently it needs some update with the latest location of the drivers...
