Host: Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit
Guest: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

When configuring xHCI in VirtualBox Configuration no USB 3.0 Devices are available for Windows 7 Guests!
In Windows 7 Devicemanagement I get an missing Devicedriver
In Ubuntu $User is member of group vboxusers.
Is USB 3.0 Suppport generally available for Windows 7 Guests?
Thanks

Re: No xHCI on Windows 7 guests
Windows 7 does not have support for USB3 (xHCI). It says so in the manual Chapter 3.2 (you read it, right?). You'll have to download the Intel drivers. Don't have the link available, search for it.Clary wrote:Is USB 3.0 Suppport generally available for Windows 7 Guests?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
