Surface Pro 4, Host: Windows 10 anniversary, VM Windows 7 (64 Bit)
All is working fine, except if I want to connect a new Samsung SSD 3.0 Portable (500TB) to USB Port and connect it with the Windows 7 guest.
Older Sticks and HDS (USB 2.0) etc. work fine.
Then I geht the following message:
Das USB-Gerät Samsung Flash Drive [1100] konnte nicht an die virtuelle Maschine Windows 7 gebunden werden.
Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_PDM_NO_USB_PORTS).

What can I do?

Re: Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device
The easiest fix is to map the drive as a shared folder - remove the USB filter.
