"Almost useless"? So, if you can't use seamless, you can't use the guest? I do understand your needs (so do the developers I believe), but exaggeration never really helped anyone. If it was a bug, you wouldn't categorize is as "blocker", but as "annoyance".popanz wrote:It makes using the current Windows Version as guest almost useless - so not really unimportant!
I was the one that made that original comment, and I'm sticking by it.Rob. S. wrote:Oh, and comments like "adding a comment to every ticket that has the symptoms can lead to one thing; pissing off the developers" can lead to one thing: pissing off the users even more.

Unfortunately, that particular bug was originally concerning Windows 7 guests and further comments were from folks mainly using Linux guests. There was, in my experience, global corruption of seamless across guests in general that I saw resolved in this change (in particular, with XP). However, it did not change the original problem: Windows 10. I would advise looking at ticket #15092.
This is definitely not an exaggeration!socratis wrote:"Almost useless"? So, if you can't use seamless, you can't use the guest? Any such discussion will be deleted. These are VirtualBox user forums, not "promote other software" forums. If you no longer want to use VirtualBox then that's your choice, goodbye.popanz wrote: Can anyone recommend another nice VM software, which is capable of a seamless mode for Win10 guests?
I'm giving up with Virtualbox now....
