Can't access share folder

virtualbox version:1.40
guest and host:winxp pro sp2

The internet is working, but i can't access the share folder.

When i ran "net use z:\\vboxsvr\tools", i just got a system error 67.

Are the Guest Additions installed?

net use z: \\vboxsvr\tools

The must a blank between "z:" and "\\...".

I confirm I had the same problem. The Guest Additions were definitively installed. I was upgrading from VB 1.3.8 to 1.4.0 (and I upgraded the GA as well)

I uninstalled the GA 1.4.0, rebooted the guest, reinstalled the 1.4.0 and then it worked again.

I suspect I didn't reboot the guest after uninstalling GA 1.3.8. This might explain the issue.
