vb 5.0.2 drag and drop not working..

win 10 64bit host
win xp pro sp3 guest
vb 5.0.2 latest stable release
guest add installed

drag and drop not working...
tried bi directional
also host to guest and guest to host
not working in any case

what have i to set..??

This is not the information I asked for. Also, don't create a new file for it. Just provide the file which is on the computer already. Do not create a RTF for it.

this is the case drag n drop set Host -> Guest
but as said i've tried all the options
none working
any ideas..??

I believe that is a special test build Lou. Unless it is a self compiled version but then the OSE would be noted in the log which it isn't.

Thanks Perry. I thought "special" test builds still followed the same numbering scheme. I learned something. :)

It is strange indeed. Most of the special builds I see from the DEVs end in .53 now. They used to end in .51 in version 4.* but in this case it might just have been a different DEV that made the build. Mine still use ( .51 ) because I want to be able to tell which is theirs and which is mine, ;-)

FWIW, all guests {Linux and Windows} abort when trying to drag n drop with the "normal" 5.0.3 r102224 test build on Windows 10.

edit: not that anyone asked but I think this should be under Windows Hosts. :)

me too consider the best place that place instead of this..but was really not up to me the choice..

-same issue- ..:

drag and drop do not work at all..

It was locked because you posted the same question in two sections. Had you not done that the first one wouldn't have been locked.

As far as the problem, the only thing to do is wait for a fix.
