I was delighted to get USB 3 support in VB 5.0.
Everything worked fine at first. Now some Seagate 1.8 TB mobile drives will not "start". The drives work fine on the host (Linux) and on other computers, there are no file system errors. They just will not show up under the Windows 8.1 guest.
The device manager shows the USB mass storage device. Initially the driver reports everything is working, but after several minutes there is an error: the generic error 10, the device could not start.
Any suggestions on fixing this would be appreciated. I did try the delete USB entry (but only the drive, not the whole tree) and reboot. Guest and host are both up to date on patches.
