Is it possible to get 3d acceleration to work in Windows 95?

Right like I would be able to found a year old post. Page 17 is the last page on the forum and the first post on that page was on May 12th, 2007.

Why do you want to have 3D acceleration in an ancient OS that doesn't even support it properly? It's all software rendering, something VB is perfectly capable of. See the sticky on this forum.

Some games I have require 3d Acceleration and won't run properly in Windows XP.

Then I still ask, why run them in Windows 95 that does not have proper support for 3D acceleration? 98 has better support for it. Did you check the FAQ too? This is noted for 98 Guests:

While Sun does not provide Guest Additions for Windows 98, the Display Doctor 7 Beta suite by the company SciTech does contain a driver which will allow you to use higher color and resolution graphics modes. Please note that neither Sun nor SciTech support nor accept liability for the use of this program.

3d acceleration doesn't work in Virtualbox anyway so it doesn't really matter.
