Hi im trying to get windows running in ubuntu but everytime i try to i get this error

I believe it may be related to a bios error i get every time i start up ubuntu
MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC
(though its missing a couple number at the beggining in [ ])

Runnign xp error
for future refrence of anyone else in the future heres how i fixed this error
when reaching the grub screen select your ok press E press E again on your kernel(first one) append acpi_skip_timer_override on the end, press enter, press b, and everything should go fine.
Now since no one even tried to help me im not going to bother finding out again how to make these changes permanent but just look on the ubuntu forums
