OSX Host VM connection issue
I am running VirtualBox 4.3.26 r98988 on a Mac with Yosemite 10.10.2 and my network connection within my Windows 7 VM is having problems. It looks like it is able to connect to an 'Unidentified Network' but cannot get out to the internet. I'm attached to a bridged adapter (en0: Wi Fi (airport)) and using an Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop adapter with promiscuous mode set to 'Allow All'. I've tried playing with those settings in every combination I can think of that would work and it still is giving me problems. The network connection of the host seems fine. The guest network connection works if I downgrade VirtualBox to 4.3.24.

Re: OSX Host VM connection issue
Normally I just use NAT for guests. However, if I switch to Bridged Adapter the Name I get is "en1: Wi-Fi (AirPort)" and Promiscuous Mode is set to Deny. Cable Connected is enabled.
en0 is set to Ethernet on my host.
