so, I'm trying to install Java in a virtual Win7, and the installer gives me an error "The installer cannon proceed with the current Internet Connection settings. Please visit the following website for more information"
When I try a different Virtual Machine, with Windows 8.1, I get the same error.
Anyone seen this before and know what to do?
thanks

Re: Install Java Error
You need an internet connection. You don't have one. You tried to install the ON-LINE installer. Try the OFF-LINE one. 32-bit or 64-bit ("jre-7u51-windows-i586.exe" or "jre-7u51-windows-x64.exe", respectively).

Re: Install Java Error
But I do have an internet connection. Why does it think I don't?

Hi DukeOfURL!
I had a similar issue, my workaround was used Bridged networking instead of NAT Network (By default).
