Terminal Server 2008 R2 performance problems

Post by acarri »

Hello everybody,

I'm having performance problems with Terminal Server 2008 R2 Service, every time I connects the screen freezes for about a 10-60 seconds, sometimes even disconnects me. File Sharing and DNS works great, just problems with TS, so, I had this problem before and I fix it changing Virtualbox nic from INTEL MT to PCNET-FAST III, but this time I can't do it, because I can't find the 64 bit version of the driver, and the 32 bit version doesn't work.

I'm running a XEON 3.6, 6GB RAM, 1TB HDD, CentOS 5.5 has HOST, and as Guest I'm running Windows 2008 Server R2 64 bit, 500 GB dinamic hdd with paravirtualized network drivers.

Can anyone tell me what maybe the problem, or where can I download the 64 bit PCNET-FAST III driver please?

Thank you.

So is it not working under every type of NIC?

Yes but do you have the issue with EVERY type of NIC, or only specific ones?
