Audio Problems in Vista

I'm running a Vista Guest primarily so that I can use Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Unfortunately the audio tends to breakup with OSS drivers every few seconds and is even worse with the ALSA drivers. The OSS drivers also prevent any Ubuntu based application from using audio and sometimes cause the host applications with audio to hang.

Any ideas on how to improve the audio quality? I'm using Feisty Dawn 7.04 and Virtual Box 1.4.0.

Install the low latency kernel.

Your overall performance may lag a little, but sound should be much improved.
