windows xp guest shows 100% cpu in task manager
When I start virtualbox and start the windows xp guest os the windows is very slow and shows constantly 100% cpu. When I shutdown the guest os and restart it everything works fine. The host os ubuntu 7.10 and it doesn't slow down much when guest os is running. Any ideas?
XP guest uses 100% of 1 cpu; win2k is well behaved
Greetings--
I think I'm seeing something similar. Of the two virtualbox windows images I have, the win2k is well behaved and does not consume excessive cpu; the XP image on the other hand always consumes all of on of my cores.
I have not noticed problems with Linux guests.
Host is Ubuntu 7.10
Any ideas?
