Hi everyone, sorry if you have seen this in the Linux Host section but I realised this may be a better location!
I have switched from VMServer for my occasional windows needs now I have bought an Ipod Classic. So far very impressed as VB seems much quicker on my old machine (Celeron 2.6ghz!).
I have Xubuntu 7.10 and latest VB installed from the Deb on the website. I have set up USB following various instructions and its all all working. The Ipod is plugged in and recognised to some degree. It uses some APple drivers and is recognised as a USB mass storage device so XP is seeing my Ipod but its not installing it as an Ipod fully and Itunes doesn't see it.
I have come to a total halt with this problem, can any one point me in the right direction?I am sure people are using this set up to sync their Ipods I just can't quite get there!
