internet connection not working after update

Hello all,

I'm quite new to linux and virtualbox..so excuse me if I'm not complete/accurate in describing the problem I've got..

I'm using virtualbox 1.5.2. At the moment my internet connection is not working when using an internetbrowser in virtualbox (need to do so for using websites for ordering printed foto-albums). When using firefox directly in linux everything seems to work normal.

The only changes made are: installing java 6 update 3 and installing the latest firefox update

current version info firefox
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.11

I've searched this forum for the applicable keywords, but unfortunately couldn't find anything that could seem of use...

Can anyone help?

Try Router IP as DNS Server in the Guest.
