98 with cd dirver

I installed my coppy of 98 from win98 i copped to the vdi from xp because i needed the cd rom drive so it has installed and everything but it will not see the cd drive. so i cant see much and cant get on the net even the driver installed for it.

But can some one help me get my cd rom dirive working for it? I have it maped and everything

Windows 98 does not see a cd rom drive on the computer but 2 floppy drives and 2 hard drives. But i installed 98 from the hdd

How is the Configuration of the Guest in VB? In the Settings CDROM enabled?

First try a new hardware detection in the guest. Insert a cd in Drive and VB Settings before that!

I will try that. right know 98 is loading

here thes are drivers that are missing

Try a clean install with a Boot Disk (as Image) with CD Driver.

OK i think i will make the cd as an iso so it goes faster

ok i installed it from the iso then unmounted it and put on the vb add-ons and the cd drive will not show up and i am missing the same drivers. but i am going to try somthing. I had my v ram at 4 and it loaded with out a problem then i changed somthing

I got it. i did not changer anything with the settings in 98 but put my video ram to 7 and left the setting in 98 to make it work.. So i dont need any help thanks
