Can't Join windows NT domain via working bridged interface

Hello

I have a XP guest on a ubuntu 7.10 64 bits host. I have bridged the interfaces and the network works for both host and guest.

However i can't join my NT domain on my XP guest and don't understand why. I have to put the network link down to login on my XP guest using the windows cache account and reup the link after the login was autentificated.

When i put up the link i can use network (via the bridged "tap1" interface) and access to my shared ressources on the NT domain...
Of course i don't have the problem when using a non virtualized XP machine.

I have the same problem via the laptop i have installed for a friend on the same company...

Could someone help me ?

I can't help but you are not alone. It seems to be a general problem.
