winxp host and Win98 guest hangs

hello,
I have tried making a virual machine (on both my Winxp 32 and 64bit) OS
witha Win98 SE guest OS.
Both hanged on the exect spot. right after instaltion, before entering the CD-key. anybody have an idea?

Win98 is not supported by VB.

Better try Qemu for this.

If you know an Pc emulator that would emulate Soundblaster pro or something would be exlent(for these oldies you know

VMware workstation doesn't work, I get an error message saying the driver is incorrect or something.
anyway, VMware uses Sound Blaster PCI witch apparently isn't supported on the games I've tried with

VMWARE hast sb16 and es1371. But these problems are better discussed at a vmware forum.
