Copy/paste problem for Windows 2000 Guest

I cannot copy and paste inside the guest window. It doesn't work with neither with keyboard (crtl-c, ctrl-insert) nor with right-click mouse commands.

The system is running on a Windows Vista x64 host with the latest Guest Additions installed. Any ideas?

Edit: This happens under VBox 1.5.2

Further notes:

I reinstalled and as the first thing installed Guest aditions. From then on I only did Windows updates & reboots for Win2K until all updates were complete. I then went into Wordpad and ctrl-c and ctrl-v still worked fine. Right after I created a "text" notepad document using "New" in explorer. I tried to edit it and the commands didn't function anymore. I also tried file copy and paste but copy is disabled now.

I would assume that this is a recreatable situation to isolate the bug.

Some further notes:

I uninstalled Guest Additions and rebooted the guest. Copy/paste is working fine now again. So clearly the problem can be traced to guest additions.
