Hi there,
I successfully installed VirtualBox 1.5.0 in Ubuntu 7.04; years ago, my PC came pre-installed with WindowsXP. They didn't give the original Windows CDs, but 3 Image CDs that I can use to completely rebuild the PC. I tell VirtualBox to install from these ImageCDs; the process inside VB is exactly the same as if I would re-build WinXP natively. It asks for all three CDs and at the end, it asks to remove the last CD from the CD-ROM drive for it to re-boot. But it seems to crash while shutting down, it never re-boots. When I start the WinXP guest, I get a message that says:
FATAL:No bootable medium found! System halted
Inside VB, I changed the boot order from CD(1st) Hard disk(2nd) to Hard disk only.
What else can I do?
Thanks for your help!
Peter
