I have Windows XP installed und Ubuntu 7.04 with Virtualbox 1.5.
I can natively boot into Windows and also boot the Raw Partition using VM under Ubuntu.
When i install Windows through the VM to the Raw Partition everything is fine.
I set up 2 Hardware-Profiles.
Boot into Profile 2 and install MergeIDE.
Then i boot Profile 2 natively and Windows installs all Driver for Profile 2.
When back under ubuntu and boot into Profile 1 using the VM the Startmenu has a strange effect. The Fade Effect is extremly slow. It is the Standardeffect of Windows Display Properties -> Appearance -> Effects ... -> "Use the following transition effects for menus and tooltips". Disabling or using the Rollout effect seems fine.
Did anyone else noticed that ?
