VirtualBox 1.5 does not support Vista X64 as a guest

VB 1.5 installs ok on Vista X64 (Ultimate ). When I tried t install Vista X64 as a guest, the installs fails with a stop error 0xc000035a. VB 1.5 does support Vista x32 as a guest (installed VB 1.5 in Vista Premium X32)

Only 32 Bit Guests work.

I realized that 1.5 only supported XP X64 (see download page) as an X64 host. How far behind can Vista X64 be? Probably waiting for signed drivers to be okayed, assuming they try to get the drivers certified.

We've only tested with Vista 64, never with the obsolete XP 64. It runs fine with the former, possibly with the latter too.

As I indicated in the first post in this topic, installs fails with a stop error 0xc000035a when I try to install Vista X64 SP1 (the full install) as a guest OS in Virtual Box with Vista X64 ultimate as a host.
I will try an RTM Vista Home Premium to see if it is SP1 related and post back here. The Full install Vista x86 SP1 loaded and works ok as a guest OS with X32 as a host.

Same error with attempt to create a Virtual Vista X64 guest OS (Vista selected) using Vista X64 Ultimate as a host (both RTM ).
Here is the error message from the attempt:

status: 0xc000035a
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.

Note that your website downloads page indicates XP AMD64, NOT Vista X64 ( VirtualBox 1.5.0 for Windows hosts x86 | AMD64 (only on Windows x64!)

You should be a bit clearer. 64 bits guest are not supported as somebody else said above.

64 bits windows hosts are supported, but we have only tested Vista 64.
The download page clearly says Windows x64. This is a generic term for 64 bits windows versions.
